Throughout the month of May, we’ll be joining the London Cheese Project in celebrating London Cheese Month. Across the city, artisan producers and cheesemongers will be showcasing their finest produce at a series of tastings, talks and workshops.
We’ve invited five British cheesemakers, (and their cheeses), to join us in Motcomb St. to share their cheeses and their stories.
Meet the Maker: Julie Cheyney from White Wood Dairy

Julie Cheyney is the first cheesemaker to win the James Aldridge Award for Raw Milk Cheese twice. Come and meet Julie, and try her cheeses: St. Jude and St. Cera. Saintly by name, but wickedly good!

In quite a treat for the turophile, we have not one, but two cheesemakers with us today. Sample cheeses including the likes of: Baronet, Wyfe of Bath, Bath Blue, The Merry Wyfe and Bath Soft.

A renegade by name, and a renegade by nature. Marcus Fergusson is a relatively new cheesemaker, but his burgeoning trophy cabinet would make you believe otherwise. Come and try the notoriously punchy Renegade Monk and meet the maker!
